Let’s be honest who likes to talk about themselves in bios..

I certainly do not. However, for those expecting an obligatory synopsis of my life here goes, unconventional, outspoken, glass ceiling shattering, five foot one dynamo fueled by chocolate, coffee and the grace of God.

I love to dream big dream big dreams, do what people say cannot be done and I have a blast while doing it. I’ve done that as a teenager creating fashions that later lead me to show in Columbia’s first fashion week. As a college student performing in a lead roll at the Koger center. Starting my own creative agency that has helped many entrepreneurs transform their businesses and non profits over the years. I’ve used that same spunk to build an award winning real estate business, and finally win my first campaign and become an elected official serving the community I love.

I love my family and my framily (friends who are chosen family)! I believe in writing the vision for your life, praying over it and seeing what God does. I met the man of my dreams and married him as a result of those prayers. My parents have been my biggest inspirations and taught me to leave people better than I found them. That has been the DNA of everything that I do. I love spending time with my sisters, in laws, nieces and nephews. Oh, and let’s not forget! I love taking on new challenges and experiences, setting goals and achieving them.

I believe that every day I get up, no matter the circumstances that present themselves, that God has a plan for my life and I just have to keep moving forward with my eyes on Him.
